Far Cry 4 is an Ubisoft-developed game, which was released in 2014. The first shooter tells the story of a civil war in a fictional country. The game has its versions available for PlayStation and Xbox consoles as well as for Windows operating system.
Meaning and history
Far Cry 4 is a first-person action-adventure shooter set in a large open world, released by the not-so-famous Ubisoft in 2014. Created in the image of its famous predecessor, Far Cry 3, the game offers improved signature gameplay and an expanded open world.
Far Cry 4 is set in Kirat, a fictional kingdom in the Himalayas. The player is asked to try on the role of Ajay Ghale, who is trapped in Kirat because of a promise he made to his dying mother. Thus, Ajay travels to his homeland to attend his mother’s funeral.
However, the native land is not very hospitable to the protagonist, because there is a Civil War, in which Ajay begins to take an active part. Under the mask of the main protagonist, the player will have to visit a huge number of ancient ruins, which hide a lot of secrets, collect items for different collections, and move around the country using transportation. The goal is to destroy the soldiers of the dictator Min.
All the characters in Far Cry 4 can be divided into two groups: the Golden Path supporters and the King supporters. The first group includes the protagonist Ajay, Amita, Sabal, and Bhadra, while the second group includes Peigan Min, Yuma Lau, Paul Harman, and Noor Najjar.
According to numerous reviews of players, Far Cry 4 is the best game in the series from Ubisoft, which improved all the flaws of the previous version, introduced interesting new lines in the story, and a lot of game innovations, such as the way the hero moves in space.
